There are two artists known as Rich MullinsOne is the former bassist of Karma to Burnand Speedealer, who now plays in Year Long Disaster. The other was born Richard Wayne Mullinsand was an American singer/songwriter who lived in Richmond, Indiana till his untimely death in an automobile accident in 1997. He was a prodigiously talented Christian musician and composer, playing, primarily, the piano but also the hammered dulcimer, the lap dulcimer and the Irish tin whistle. His biggest hits were the praise choruses Awesome Godand Step by Step. Three of his albums are considered among Christian music's best: Winds Of Heaven, Stuff Of Earth(1988), The World As Best As I Remember It, Volume 1(1991) and A Liturgy, a Legacy & a Ragamuffin Band(1993).
